Response to: Butler Should be ashamed- Letter to the Editor
I was born and raised in the great town of Butler PA. Over the years Butler has changed almost to be unrecognizable. I have heard Butler was getting an A team to come in the Pullman Park, the streets were being paved, remoldling homes, folks started to lift there heads and began to look the world in the eye. Blame became the focus on this great town
i. e. drugs, no jobs. A great man said: where your focus is lies there is your success! We as Butler people might have forgotten we were the ones that built the first jeep. we are srong in traditions, our historical homes and building in the city are priceless. Can they be resorted, yes! we have unbelievable talent in this city. Wouldn't be great if we came together and gave back what was so freely given to us growing up, family doing the next right thing, hard work etc. Business owners that have capitalize on this great city might want to look back and rethink and reurn the favor and offer there time and money to rebuild the greatest city in the world BULTER, PA. Butler people PRIDE-UP! I will be the first to say you can count me in.
