Police reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
Nov. 4 — Tiffiney Lynn Martin, 42, of Bruin, was charged with misdemeanor receiving stolen property following an Oct. 16 incident. Police said Martin sold two stolen wedding rings valued at $749.98 to a store in Cranberry Township.
Oct. 19 — Police investigated a two-vehicle crash at 12:11 p.m. near the intersection of Route 8 and Boyers Road in Mercer Township. Police said Alexander J. Vollmer, 22, of St. Mary’s, driving a Honda, struck a Kia Sorento driven by Jade K. Jones, 37, of Franklin. Jones was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital for a possible injury.
Oct. 21 — Police investigated a two-vehicle crash at 3:03 p.m. on Deer Creek Road in Clinton Township. Police said Logan M. Nasso, 22, of Clinton, driving a Honda, struck a Toyota RAV4 driven by David J. Scott, 64, of Saxonburg. Scott and his passenger, Fawn A. Scott, 63, of Saxonburg, were transported to Butler Memorial Hospital with suspected minor injuries.
Nov. 4 — Kristi Lee Jameson, 41, of Chicora, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an Aug. 22 traffic stop in Parker Township. Police said Jameson tested positive for fentanyl.
Nov. 4 — Michael Joseph Tack, 47, of East Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an Oct. 19 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Tack had a blood alcohol content of 0.286%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
Nov. 4 — Jeremy L. Schmidt, 48, of Fenelton, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts and one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following an Oct. 17 traffic stop in Butler. Police said Schmidt tested positive for cocaine and had a glass smoking pipe and cocaine.
Nov. 5 — Police investigated a two-vehicle crash at 6:10 p.m. at the intersection of Whitestown and Evans City roads in Connoquenessing Township. Police said Trina Queener-Marshall, 52, of New Castle, driving a Nissan Altima, struck a Toyota Camry driven by Ethin B. Saunier, 18, of Butler. Queener-Marshall was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital with suspected minor injuries.
Nov. 5 — Robert James Aleva III, 31, of Freedom, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a Sept. 21 traffic stop in Zelienople. Police said Aleva had a blood alcohol content of 0.231%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
