Doris Aleta Moore McGrady, 79, of Sumter, S.C., the wife of Edward Eugene McGrady, died Friday at Tuomey Healthcare System in South Carolina.

Born in Chicora, she was a daughter of Oscar C. Sr. and Mildred McGarvey Moore.

Surviving are her husband of Sumter; two sons, Gregory A. McGrady and his wife, Kelly J. McGrady, of Sumter and Larry E. McGrady and his wife, Suki McGrady, of Fairbanks, Alaska, a brother, Oscar C. Moore Jr. of Chicora; and five grandchildren, Frank Mahala III, Ashley Hedgepath, Joseph McGrady, Joyce Weis and Kathryn McGrady.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Terri Ann Mahala, and a grandson, Joshua McGrady.
