Gerald L. Roffis
Gerald L. Roffis, 71, of Magnolia Court, Saxonburg, died at 4 p.m. Saturday at his home.
Born Jan. 12, 1938, in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Calvin Roffis and the late Pauline Weinstein.
Mr. Roffis worked as a salesman for various places across the United States.
He was Jewish.
Mr. Roffis served two tours of duty in the U.S. Navy.
He was a past member of the John Roebling Historical Society and several American Legions and VFW posts in different areas of the country.
Mr. Roffis is survived by his wife, Rosemarie Roffis, who he married Oct. 11, 1958; two sons, Stefan Roffis and his children, Tara and Brandon, and Samuel Roffis and his daughter, Kara.
Mr. Roffis was preceded in death by a son, Michael.
<B>ROFFIS</B> — There will be no visitation. Graveside services for Gerald L. Roffis, who died Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, were held at 2 p.m. today at the Butler County Memorial Park with Rabbi Sara Perman of Congregation Emanu-El Israel officiating.
