Nancy Jean Hoehn, 91, of Butler, passed away Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, at Newhaven Court at Clearview.

She was born Oct. 23, 1934, in Butler, to the late James and Evelyn (Sheef) Morris.

Nancy graduated from Butler High School in 1952. She went on to marry Gerald Hoehn and was a very devoted homemaker to her family. She was a longtime member of First English Lutheran Church, as well as being a past president of the ARC Pennsylvania, formerly known as the PARC. Nancy enjoyed raising Polish Arabian horses, as well as spending time with her loving family.

Nancy is survived by her five children, James “Phil” Hoehn, Julia Hoehn, John (Lisa) Hoehn, Paul (Dianna) Hoehn and Cara (Dan) Lapic; her 11 grandchildren; her 9 great-grandchildren; as well as by her numerous friends, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Gerald E. Hoehn, whom she married Feb. 15, 1958, and who passed away Oct. 3, 2017; her sister, Joan Bennett; as well as by her nieces, Rebecca Jensen and Carol Bennett.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the team at Newhaven Court at Clearview for enriching Nancy’s life with their care, expertise and love in her final years. Newhaven was the perfect place for her as evidenced by her loving smiles on each visit.

HOEHN — A visitation for Nancy Jean Hoehn, who died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025, will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17, at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler, PA 16001.

A funeral service will be held at noon Tuesday, Nov. 18, at the funeral home with the Rev. Kimberly van Driel officiating.

Burial will take place at Butler County Memorial Park.

A light luncheon will follow at First English Lutheran Church.
