Crossbow, pellet gun shot into side of residence, police say
Police are investigating after a pellet gun and crossbow were shot into the side of a residence on North Washington Road in Washington Township.
Police said the offense occurred between 9:30 p.m. Oct. 10 and 9:30 a.m. Oct. 11. Police found the living room windows and vinyl shutters of the residents had been damaged by a pellet gun, and a single crossbow bolt was found in the vinyl siding of the east wall of the residence.
No further damage or injuries were reported. The cost of damages was estimated at $2,230.
Police canvassed the neighborhood but didn’t find anything. Anyone with information is requested to contact the state police barracks in Butler.
