Macurdy

Margie I. Macurdy, 87, of Cabot died Sunday at the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born April 26, 1921, in West Winfield, she was the daughter of Gilbert Ekas and Emma (Yingst) Ekas.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church in Sarver. She enjoyed gardening, playing bridge and bingo.

Surviving are her son, Randy (Vivian) Mills of Springfield, Va., and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her first husband, Curtis T. Mills, on March 18, 1966; her second husband, Eugene E. Macurdy, on Aug. 13, 1983; four sisters; and four brothers.

<B>MACURDY</B> — Friends of Margie I. Macurdy, who died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009, will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Howard Greenfield officiating.
