Mary Louise Bogacki
Mary Louise Bogacki, 82, of Zelienople died Saturday at the Ellwood City Hospital on the date of her wedding anniversary.
Born April 24, 1926, in Connoquenessing, she was the daughter of John C. and Margaret O'Neil McCarren.
Mrs. Bogacki was a 1944 graduate of Lincoln High School in Ellwood City.
She was a member of the St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church in Zelienople.
She retired in 2000 from the Lutheran Service Society of Western Pennsylvania as manager of the Evans City Plus Sixty Senior Center, where she was an active member.
Mrs. Bogacki enjoyed playing cards, shopping and especially enjoyed selling quilt raffle tickets. Her greatest joy was her family.
She is survived by three daughters, Anna DeTemple and her husband, Richard, of Tennessee and Barbara Lehman and her husband, William and Margaret Miller, all of Harmony; two sons, Edward F. Bogacki and his wife, Patricia, of Ellwood City and Thomas J. Bogacki and his wife, Theresa, of Butler; and two sisters, Agnes Fernekes of Virginia and Margaret Petrick and her husband, Jack, of California. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Edward Bogacki, who she married June 21, 1945, died July 7, 2004. She also was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Terry Russell Miller, who died April 21, 2008; and two brothers, Robert McCarren and Monsignor John C. McCarren.

Grandview Ave., Zelienople. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at the St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople.
