Young

Darla Jane Young, 64, of Sarver died Tuesday at her home.

Born Sept. 1, 1943, in Harrison Township, Allegheny County, she was the daughter of Marjory Huston Blackburn and the late Clifford Blackburn.

She was a nurse's aide at the Alle-Kiski Medical Center.

Mrs. Young was a member the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Sarver.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, Karaoke, rodeos, camping and church activities.

Surviving are her mother; two daughters, Rhonda (Jack Linamen) Wissinger and Coleen Young; a sister, Doreen Blackburn; three brothers, Keith (Donna), Kevin (Earla Montgomery) and Barry (Patty) Blackburn; 10 grandchildren, Brianna, Brandon, Brooke, Dylan, Dalton, Desiree, Brandon Lee, Kenny, Monica and Taylor; two nephews and four nieces, Amy, Nathan, Courtney, Taylor, Crystal and Tiffany; four great-nephews; and a great-niece, all of Sarver; and a daughter-in-law, Melissa Young Cox. She was Gramma Darla to Heather and Ryan Wissinger.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Harold B. Young, who died Aug. 13, 2003; two sons, Allen and Daryl Young; and a nephew, Bryan Blackburn.

<B>YOUNG </B>— Friends of Darla Jane Young, who died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
