Calabrese

Margaret Mary (Beck) Calabrese, 70, of Ocean View, Del., passed away peacefully Friday at her home with her loving family by her side.

She was born Jan. 26, 1939, in Butler, daughter of the late Paul and Vivian (Rose) Beck.

Prior to moving to Delaware in 1994, the family lived in Farmingdale, N.Y., where Mrs. Calabrese was as a payroll supervisor at the Brunswick Hospital in Amityville, N.Y.

She was a graduate of Slippery Rock University and a member of the St. Ann Catholic Church, Bethany Beach, Del. She was a former member of the AAUW and the Lord Baltimore Lioness Club. She was a charter member of AARP Chapter 5226, Ocean View and a member of the Sussex County Genealogical Society.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Beck.

She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Renaldo A. Calabrese; two sons, Anthony Calabrese and his wife, Patricia, of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Albert Calabrese and his wife, Lisa, of Pittsburgh; two daughters, Christine Petrelli and her husband, Frank, of Great River, N.Y., and Caroline Paul and her husband, Raymond of Bethpage, N.Y.; six grandchildren, Julianna, Zoe, Domenic, Mia, Nicholas and Raymond; two brothers, James Beck of Tucson, Ariz., and Frank Beck of Sarasota, Fla.; and three sisters, Agnes Grabowski of Butler, Eileen Brandt of Valencia, and Ruth Roberts of Butler.

<B>CALABRESE</B> — Funeral services for Margaret Mary (Beck) Calabrese, who died Friday, June 5, 2009, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the <B>Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium</B>, Clarksville Chapel, Routes 26 and 17, Clarksville, Del. Friends may call at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Monday.
