A sequel to a long-told classic
Hobnob Theatre Company is bringing another child-focused play to its stage next weekend, with a show that is the sequel to a classic tale.
“Tortoise vs. Hare 2: This Time It’s Personal” is a 35-minute-long production meant to introduce children ages 2 and up to “the magic of theater,” according to Hobnob.
The company started Hobnob Junior to give people of all ages the chance to enjoy the magic of theatrical experiences, and this new show comes after many sold-out performances for “The Velveteen Rabbit.”
Kari-Anne Innes, a professor at Slippery Rock University, directs this show, filled with a cast of SRU students and community actors.
Tickets are $5, and they are on sale now at hobnobtheatre.ludus.com. Performances are at 3 and 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 15, and on Sunday, Nov. 16.
