‘Mary Poppins’ landing in BC3 for Sing Hosanna! show
Sing Hosanna!, a youth performance group that has operated for 48 years, will present “Mary Poppins” as its next musical show the weekend of Nov. 14.
The story centers around the Banks family, comprised of a father, George (Nathan Rockcastle), his wife, Winifred (Mia McGrady), and their two children, Jane (Ella Sutara) and Michael (Lincoln Morrison), who find their world transformed by their new nanny, Mary Poppins (Mary Ann Mangini), along with her friend and jack-of-all-trades, Bert (Sam Carmella).
With classic songs like “A Spoonful of Sugar” and “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,” the performers participate in many magical and memorable adventures across London with Mary Poppins, who teaches the Banks family to look beyond the ordinary and appreciate each other again.
Performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 14 and at 2 p.m. Nov. 15, at the Succop Theater at Butler County Community College, 107 College Drive, Butler Township.
Tickets, which are $18 for reserved seats, can be purchased at ticketleap.events/events/singhosanna. Call 724-290-8900 for assistance with ticket purchases and other information.
