Historic Harmony will host WeihnachtsMarkt, its annual German-inspired holiday market, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9.

Visitors are invited to stroll through the borough, which will be hosting more than 70 artisans and vendors, along with live music, German-inspired food, mulled wine, horse-drawn carriage rides and free children’s activities. Harmony’s historic buildings, including the museum, Washington’s Cabin, Ziegler log house and the Weaver’s Cabin, will be open for self-guided tours and demonstrations.

The market honors Harmony’s German heritage, as the town was established by German immigrants in 1804. More than 50 buildings in Harmony are part of a National Historic Landmark District, according to a news release from Experience Butler County.

“This market highlights Harmony’s German heritage, and is a great opportunity to find unique and handmade gifts this holiday season,” said Amy Pack, president of Experience Butler County. “It is one of our most well-known winter events, and has been recognized by national publications.”

Admission is $8 for adults; $6 for Harmony Museum members, students and seniors; and free for children 12 and younger.
