Butler County’s Halloween special happenings
Creep it real, goblins and ghouls. Here’s a fang-tastic list of Butler County’s trick-or-treat times. We’ll keep it updated with the haunted happenings all October long.
Eau Claire will have a Halloween parade at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2. The line up starts in the parking lot across from Buzard Funeral Home, and the route ends at Eau Claire Park. Trick or treat follows until 4 p.m.
Marion Township will also have a parade Saturday, which starts at 4 p.m. at the end of Clay Street.
Prospect will host a costume contest at 5 p.m. Friday at the Prospect Fire Hall, 373 Main St., Prospect.
Slippery Rock Borough will have a parade at 6 p.m. on Saturday along Main Street in Slippery Rock. Its route starts on East Cooper Street.
Zelienople’s merchant trick or treat takes place from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday on Main Street, giving children the chance to get tricks and treats from businesses on the street. The Halloween parade follows at 6:30 p.m., in which children will show off their costumes in a march down Main Street.
