Owen Eastgate recorded a hat trick, propelling Seneca Valley boys soccer to the WPIAL Class 4A championship game later this week.

The No. 4 Raiders cruised past top-seed Peters Township 3-0 in Tuesday’s district semifinal at West Allegheny High School. They will face No. 2 Fox Chapel, 3-0 winners over third-seed Plum in the other semi, in the final at Highmark Stadium at a date and time to be announced Wednesday morning.

SV’s girls team clinched a berth in the final Monday night, likely setting up a double-header for the two teams.

Eastgate scored his first goal on a free kick with 1:41 left in the first half, then scored his next two midway through the second about three minutes apart.

Chase Good was in net for the shutout.
