Kline, McGarrah go 1-2 in pole vault
BUTLER TWP — Butler's Andrew Kline and Tristan McGarrah both vaulted 12 feet, 9 inches to place first and second, respectively, at the Butler Holiday Pole Vault Classic Friday at the Butler Intermediate gym.
Samantha Penrod placed third in the girls division with a 10-3. Jo-Michelle Huczko of Franklin Regional won the girls meet with an 11-9.
There were 46 vaulters competing in the Classic.
