Geraldine F. Byham, 92, of Connoquenessing passed away at 4:05 a.m. Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 26, 1917, in Tylersburg, Pa., the daughter of the late Norman Roddy and the late Twila (Rutherford) Roddy.

She was a member of the Evans City Church of God.

She was a homemaker, and she enjoyed reading.

Surviving are her daughter, Debbie and her husband, Richard Haniwalt, of Renfrew; two sons, Ronald Byham and his companion, Lois Phillips, of Seneca and Gary E. Byham of Lucinda; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Glenn Roddy; three sisters, Norma Renninger of Oil City, Audean Miller of Oil City and Judy Dashner of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Byham, who she married April 23, 1941, and who died March 19, 1981; two brothers; and two sisters.

<B>BYHAM </B>— Friends of Geraldine F. Byham, who died Monday, Jan. 18, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Keith Karns officiating.
