MUSICAL MOMENT
Pompom girls perform to the music of the Knoch High School Marching Band at the Butler County Band Invitational in this photograph from Sept. 27, 1973. Sporting new white uniforms trimmed with gold fringe and sequins, the girls performed under the direction of Gloria Caputo. John Gillespie was band director. Six of the seven Butler County high school bands performed their half time shows at the event.
