BUTLER TWP — Anyone interested in a career in teaching may attend an education transfer night.
Representatives from Butler County Community College's education department, Praxis program and transfer program will join counselors from Slippery Rock University and Clarion University in answering questions about becoming a teacher.
The event is at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Founders Hall at BC3.

PITTSBURGH — Drug maker Bayer Corp. on Friday opened an employee call center that will create 60 new jobs in the city.The company said the center will serve its estimated 15,000 employees in the United States. Bayer Corp., based in Pittsburgh, is a subsidiary of Bayer AG of Leverkusen, Germany.Pennsylvania and Allegheny County authorities gave Bayer Corp. financial incentives to establish the call center at its Pittsburgh campus, the company said.
