Karen E. Rouda
Karen E. Rouda, 64, of Cape Coral, Fla., formerly of Evans City, died Monday in Florida.
Born July 23, 1943, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Caroline Novak Fischer.
She was an active member of St. Matthias Roman Catholic Church in Evans City, where she taught Sunday school and was a Eucharistic minister.
Mrs. Rouda retired as the administrator for the Evans City Borough after more than 18 years.
She had been a member of the Cranberry Elks Lodge 2249.
Surviving are her husband, David F. Rouda Sr.; three sons, David F. Rouda Jr. and his wife, Hope, of Connoquenessing, William R. Rouda and his wife, Melissa, of Evans City and Michael H. Rouda and his wife, Rebecca, of Butler; a brother, Harry Fischer and his wife, Mary Ann, of Oakdale; and four grandchildren, Drew and Brett Rouda, Steven Gale and Stephanie Rouda.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Jean Fischer and Dolores Frederick, and a brother, Richard Fischer.
