Dominick Pagniello

Dominick A. Pagniello, 60, of Mars, formerly of New Kensington, died unexpectedly Thursday evening.

Born in Pittsburgh on August 30, 1950, he was the son of Dorothy Wright Pagniello of Lower Burrell, and the late Dominick A. Pagniello, Sr.

A self-employed artist, Dominick and his wife, Janet, are owners of The Cookie Queen of Mars. He was also a Licensed Commodities Broker.

A 1969 graduate of Valley High School, he was an accomplished athlete, playing football and setting records in track and field events.

He attended Millersville University, where he was active in drama.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Janet L. McSwaney Pagniello, who he married on Feb. 13, 1999; one son, Cole T. McSwaney Pagniello at home, two sisters, Felicia Zack (Richard S.) of Lower Burrell, and Rebecca McFall (Robert) of New Kensington; and several nieces and nephews.

<B>PAGNIELLO</B> — Friends of Dominick A. Pagniello, who died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, will be received at <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, on Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.Services will follow at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Dennis Swineford, pastor of the Bakerstown United Methodist Church, officiating.Memorials may be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.
