A federal jury has found that a state trooper and two Pittsburgh police officers did not use excessive force while making a traffic stop in 2008.

Jurors deliberated for about three hours Thursday before finding unanimously against plaintiff David M. Palmer, who said he was beaten and shocked with stun guns after he told officers he had a gun.

A Pittsburgh woman has been arrested in the stabbing death of her 26-year-old daughter.Police say 48-year-old Terrie Greene fatally stabbed her daughter, Felicia, Wednesday afternoon at a home in Oakland.Investigators say officers were dispatched to the home around 12:30 p.m. for a domestic dispute. Felicia Greene was transported to a hospital where she later died of her injuries. Her mother was also treated for injuries. Terrie Greene faces a criminal homicide charge.
