Judith B. (Borowitz) Podolak, 62, of Largo, Fla., passed away peacefully Jan. 23 at her home with family by her side.

She was born Feb. 4, 1948, in Young-stown, Ohio, to the late Frank B. and Ethel A. (Alcott Petrie) Borowitz.

She was married to Robert H. Podolak, with whom she would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on April 3 of this year.

Judy was a 1966 graduate of Butler High School. Following graduation, she attended Robert Morris Junior College, where she received an associate degree in business in 1968.

While living in this area, she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Butler.

She was an administrative officer for the Butler and Lebanon (Pa.) Veterans Affairs Medical centers for 30 years, and a volunteer/ambassador.

She also was a lifetime associate member of the Fraternal Order of Police and the Lebanon Lodge 42 in Lebanon County.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Danell R. and her husband, Daryl, Wampler of Rockledge, Montgomery County, and Shenendoah R. Podolak of Lebanon; and three granddaughters, Amber, Allyson and Amy Wampler.

<B>PODOLAK </B>— A memorial service for Judith B. (Borowitz) Podolak, who died Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, at the Lebanon VA Medical Center chapel with the Rev. Dr. John Merkel officiating. Family and friends are invited to call at the chapel from 2 p.m. until the time of the service.The family requests memorials be made to the Hospice Foundation of the Florida Suncoast, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760.Arrangements are by <B>Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services</B>, Palmyra, Lebanon County.
