Joan W. Ostrozny, 80, of Middlesex Township, passed away Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, while under the care of St. John Specialty Care Center in Mars.

Born Oct. 7, 1944, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Edward A. and Mildred V. (Happ) Wetzel.

Joan was a devoted member of Saint Mark the Evangelist Parish — Holy Sepulcher Church in Butler. She was a member of her card club for over 50 years.

Joan enjoyed reading, playing tennis, planting flowers and tending to her garden, and decorating for the holidays. She loved to travel with her husband, John, and go on vacation. She also loved animals. Above all, she deeply cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren. Joan will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, John S. Ostrozny; her children, Lisa M. Behanna and her husband, Daniel, and Lori J. Hunter and her husband, Tim; her grandchildren, Nathan Behanna, Ethan Behanna and Madison Hunter.

OSTROZNY — Friends of Joan W. Ostrozny, who died Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, at BOYLAN-GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Saint Mark the Evangelist Parish — Holy Sepulcher Church, 1304 E. Cruikshank Road, Butler. Everyone please meet at church.

She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery and Mausoleum, 1898 Bakerstown Road, Tarentum.

Memorial donations can be made in her honor to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053 (https://butlercountyhs.org/).
