Elena Jenkins scored with two minutes left in the second overtime on an assist from Peyton Los, and Freeport girls soccer escaped Mt. Pleasant with a 1-0 win Saturday.
Alyssa Alcorn made a save on a Morgan Gesinski breakaway shot, according to Freeport (10-1) coach Steve Kukic, which came right before the winner.
Butler 2, Kiski Area 0 — Cecelia Wolford scored both goals in the win for the Tornado (5-5-1).
Ryan Sutara scored three goals in Freeport’s 7-1 win over Greensburg Central Catholic.
Liam Dunn, Caleb Passarelli, Dante Treglia and Spencer Valasek also scored for the Yellowjackets (8-4-1).
North Catholic 2, Highlands 1 — Brody Kennedy and Nathan Salac scored second-half goals to lead the Trojans (11-1-1, 9-1 WPIAL Section 1-2A) to a comeback win.

Newkirk threw a pair of first-quarter TDs to Demetris Crosby from 25 and 78 yards out. Rowan and Crosby also recorded two-point conversions.
Newkirk finished 11 of 19 for 212 passing yards. Crosby caught two passes for 103 yards and had eight carries for 50 yards.
