Shawn Elmer Kellogg, 32, of Plain Grove Township, Volant, died unexpectedly Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2025. He was proud to be working as a fourth-generation farmer on the 105-year-old family farm.

He was passionate about being a loving dad, husband and son, feeding cattle, mowing hay, spreading manure, hunting deer and taking walks through the woods. He loved his homestead with his dogs, cattle and chickens.

He leaves behind his parents, Mark Scott Kellogg and Theodora S. Kellogg; his wife, Courtney Marie Kellogg; his daughter, Maude Yeamans Kellogg; his grandmother, Donna Lees; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.

His beautiful smile, hearty laugh, silly songs and fierce hugs will be greatly missed forever.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Eric Scott Kellogg; and grandparents, David and May Kellogg and Elmer Sestric.

KELLOGG — Visitation for Shawn Elmer Kellogg, who died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2025, will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28, at Forestville United Methodist Church, 124 Boyers Road, Forestville.

In lieu of flowers, please donate in his memory, to the Feed My Sheep Food Cupboard, 324 N. Main St., Slippery Rock, PA 16057.

Arrangements are by SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 421 New Castle St. Slippery Rock.
