EAST BRADY, Clarion County — Plans for the annual East Brady Riverfest are moving along.

The event will be July 18 to 20.

On May 10, the Riverfest committee is having its Doo-Wop Dinner Show fundraiser at the Arnold Beabout Community Center. Dinner will be at 5:30 p.m. and the show will be at 7 p.m. It is BYOB.

Tickets are $15 for presale and $20 at the door. Tickets are available at Farmers National Bank or by calling 724-526-5346 or 724-526-5028.

The committee is receiving applications for the Mini Miss, Junior Miss, Teen Miss and Queen pageants. The pageants will be July 13 at the community center. Winners will appear in the Riverfest parade July 18.

A corn hole tournament is planned for July 20. The East Brady Ministerium is hosting a church service again this year and it is planning the musical entertainment on July 20.

Organizers also are considering a 5K race.

The event also needs people to volunteer and help with planning. The committee’s next meeting is 6:30 p.m. May 1 at Allegheny Hills, the high rise at 421 Kellys Way.
