Larry D. Parenti, 61, of Butler passed away Friday at Allegheny General Hospital.

He was born Jan. 7, 1950, in Grove City, the son of the late John Parenti and the late Lorraine (Ekis) Parenti.

Larry retired from the Office of Personnel Management after 31 years.

He was a member of the Butler Bowling Association Hall of Fame and a member of the New Wilmington Camera Club. He was the photographer for Pennsylvania State Bowling Association. He enjoyed bowling, photography and golfing. He belonged to the Connoquenessing Indian Golf League.

Surviving are his wife, Anne (Fleeger) Parenti, who he married Aug. 17, 1984; a stepdaughter, Shelly A. McConnell of Butler; a stepson, Richard C. McConnell of Butler; two grandchildren, Nicholas Cooter and Kelsee McConnell; three sisters, Wanda Jacobs and Jackie (Jim) Stewart, both of Clintonville and Sharon (Don) Roddy of Polk; and his best friends, Patches and Sadie.

<B>PARENTI</B> — Friends of Larry D. Parenti, who died Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, will be received at <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services and burial in Clintonville Cemetery will be private.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the PSBA Scholarship Fund, c/o Stanley J.
