Nancy E. Harless, 55, of Georgetown Road, Harrisville, died Tuesday at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born in Clarion, April 3, 1954, she was the daughter of Norman C. Sloat and the late Louise M. (Smith) Sloat.

A 1972 graduate of Franklin High School, she was a homemaker and enjoyed playing poker, painting and designing.

She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Harless, who she married Oct. 14, 1978; a daughter, Teresa L. Sloat of Watertown, Tenn.; her father, Norman C. Sloat; a sister, Cheryl Delo and her husband, Craig, of Clintonville; a brother, James Sloat of Knox; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Norman C. Sloat.

<B>HARLESS</B> — Friends of Nancy E. Harless, who died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2009, will be received from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at <B>Jamison Funeral Home</B>, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville. Services will follow at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Willard S. Morse, minister of visitation at Grace United Methodist Church of Grove City, officiating.
