Margaret E. “Peg” Heil, 98, of Valencia, formerly of West View, died Sunday morning at Valencia Woods Nursing Center.

Born in Pittsburgh, Jan. 10, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Elizabeth Kampas Schrader.

A homemaker, Peg had been an assembly line worker for Hipwell Manufacturing Co. making flashlights.

She was a member of Mount Zion Lutheran Church of Perrysville Avenue.

Mrs. Heil was the mother of William L. Heil and his wife, Linda, of Mars; grandmother of Meghan Plaxe (Brian), Jeffrey Heil (Michele) and Joshua Heil (Jennifer); great-grandmother of Cameron, Evan, Kaitlin, Emma and Olivia; and sister of the late Ann Wagner, Esther Briggs and Sara and Wilbert Schrader.
