Richard Rodack, 74, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025.

He was born in Pittsburgh on Oct. 23, 1950, to the late Frank and Margaret (Harkins) Rodack.

Richard graduated from Canevin High School in Pittsburgh and then honorably served in the U.S. Army. He was employed as a letter carrier for 35 years until his retirement.

Richard was a dedicated husband and father. He was an avid woodworker and model builder.

Richard was the beloved husband of Susan (Vattimo) Rodack, whom he married in 1980; father of Patrick (Laura), Stephen and Kristen (Michael Roth) Rodack; and brother of Eileen Krcma.

Along with his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his siblings, Thomas, Daniel and Ned Rodack, and Mary Beth Schillo.

The family would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice House in Wexford and special thanks to Emilee, Makenzie and Megan.

RODACK — Family and friends of Richard Rodack, who died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A closing prayer will immediately follow in the funeral home.

Burial will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
