Daniel O. Enslen, 77, of Evans City died Friday morning in UPMC Passavant, McCandless Township.
BornMay 20, 1930, in Forward Township, he was the son of Jesse W. and Catherine Burr Enslen.
Mr. Enslen was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Evans City.
He was a horticulturist specializing in growing roses at the Zelienople Greenhouse.
He was a veteran of the Navy serving during the Korean War on the USSOriskany.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 494, Zelienople, the Harmony-Evans City VFW 499 and the L.O.O.M., Harmony.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia Ann Roxbury Enslen; three sons, Daniel P. of Renfrew and William B. and Douglas A., both of Prospect; one daughter, Deborah (Raymond) Collins of Evans City; one brother, Wilbert Enslen of Evans City; three sisters, Catherine Jean Enslen and Mrs. Gertrude (Floyd) McKinnis, both of Evans City, and Mrs. Thelma (Paul) Critchlow of Renfrew; and five grandchildren,Jeremy, Justin, Eden, Sarah and Brandon.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers.

Enslen, who died Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the <B>Kinsey-Volz Funeral Home</B> in Evans City.Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church with the Rev. David Saylor, his pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mt.
