Joseph J. LeFever

Joseph J. LeFever, 69, of Sugar Creek Rest, Worthington, formerly of Georgia, died at 8:40 a.m. Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born May 31, 1937, in Renfrew, he was the son of Ann Miller LeFever and the late Dallas LeFever.

Mr. LeFever was a maintenance supervisor for the Alcan Aluminum Co. in Rome, Ga., and retired in 1997. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and boating.

He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Cedartown, Ga.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Mark (Levonne) Leuenberger of Roswell, Ga., Patricia Cooper of Butler, Jill Crawford of Cabot and Mrs. Reginald (Kandy) Kriebel of Karns City; his mother of Renfrew; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Donald (Deloris) Ketchem of Butler, Mrs. Robert (Joann) Mayer of Wexford and Mrs. Rev. William (Carol) Winzler of Pittsburgh; and a number of nieces and nephews.

His wife, Evelyn M. LeFever, died April 3, 2004.

<B>LEFEVER </B>— Friends of Joseph J. LeFever, who died Tuesday, May 29, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p.m. today at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Services will follow at 8 p.m. today at the funeral home with the Rev. David Walters, chaplain of Sugar Creek Rest, officiating.
