Peter A. McDonald, 69, passed away after a brief illness Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025.

Peter was born Dec. 8, 1955, in Butler, to Albert H. and Virginia (Herold) McDonald.

He served proudly with the U.S. Marine Corps. Peter was a free spirit who loved his family, hunting, fishing and his Harley.

Peter is survived by his wife, Mary (Featherston) McDonald, of Illinois; his son, Michael McDonald, of Georgia; his stepdaughter, Nicole (Featherston) Krajcer, of Tennessee; his sister, Linda (McDonald) Sibery, of Arizona; eight grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Peter was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Sandra (McDonald) Blinn.

A private memorial will be held with his family.
