Osborne

Peter DeLoss Osborne, 61, of Butler, son of Raylene (Campbell) Osborne and the late Richard P. Osborne, passed away Sunday, Aug. 31, 2025, after a four-year battle with cancer.

Peter was born Jan. 14, 1964, in New Castle. He was a 1982 graduate of Moniteau High School and later graduated from the Butler Beauty Academy. He was the owner and operator of City Lites Shearologist Salon on Brady Street.

Peter is survived by his mother, Raylene, of West Sunbury; special friends, Sharon Vrable and Bryan Geer; his aunts, Marilyn Beatty and Frances Harding; uncle, Gerald (Cathy) Osborne; and close cousins, Kelly (George) Janis, Karey Harding, Kyle (Chilton) Shoup, Ashley (Mike) Perry and Dylan Harding.

He was preceded in death by his baby sister, Valerie Sue; and father, Richard P. Osborne.

Peter’s family would like to thank his many faithful salon clients he had during his more than 35 years in business.

OSBORNE — A celebration of life for Peter DeLoss Osborne, who died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2025, will be held at a later date.
