On April 29, a wonderful treat was given to residents of Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center — an outing that was sheer pleasure.

This treat was planned by the activities director, Sue Double, and her assistants, Marsha Smith and George Walsh, and a young man, Jared Ray, who volunteered to help.

About 6:30 p.m., we were loaded into vans and taken to the Succop Theater at Butler County Community College to view the dress rehearsal of "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying."

This was no easy task since most of us were in wheelchairs while some were using walkers.

The play ended about 11 p.m., and again these people loaded us back into the vans and headed back to Sunnyview.

How does anyone say "thank you" for such care and compassion? Words are inadequate.
