Lockey

Mary Margaret Lockey, 82, of Harmony, passed away Sunday, Aug. 24, 2025.

Born May 25, 1943, in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Mary Helen (McCamley) Callahan.

Mary met her husband, Ken, at a high school wrestling match. She supported him in his wrestling coaching career at Seneca Valley for over 30 years, affectionately known as everyone’s “Wrestling Mom.” She attended Penn State, where she graduated with honors, and excelled at gymnastics. She was also a devoted member of Divine Grace Parish, St. Gregory Catholic Church in Zelienople.

Her whole life revolved around her family. Mary was an avid supporter of their sports endeavors in wrestling, hockey, softball, diving, gymnastics and cheerleading. As well as supporting her granddaughters in horse shows. In her free time, she also enjoyed going on walks. Mary’s unwavering love and support for her daughters and grandchildren will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Kenneth Lockey; her daughters, Kim Schrader, Michele Rosso and Kristin Lytle; her grandchildren, Sheigh Foster, Lea (Evan) Beers, Taylor (Kevin) Correll and Alex and Shane Lytle; and her great-grandchildren, Gray and Colt Foster, Kyler Dodson and Cecilia Mitro.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brothers, James and John Callahan.

LOCKEY — Friends and family of Mary Margaret Lockey, who died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2025, will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

A blessing service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery, South Oliver Ave., Zelienople. (Everyone please meet at the cemetery).
