Boy Scout Troop 58 will hold its annual pancake breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. Nov. 7 at Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children.Proceeds will benefit a troop program to provide holiday gifts to the less fortunate.———Area

Girl Scouts are focusing the 2010 Thinking Day theme, Together, by helping to mark the 10th anniversary of the Fall FoodShare Food Drive by collecting food for needy families in the community.The Fall FoodShare Food Drive will take place this weekend and next weekend, Nov. 7 and 8 at the Clearview Mall and Moraine Pointe Giant Eagle stores.Times on both weekends, will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
