Chad E. Black, 54, of Butler, passed away Thursday, Aug. 21, 2025, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Sharon to Shirley (Black) Zuchowski and Jan Zuchowski on March 23, 1971. He was married to Billie Jo (Bartley) Black for four years.

Chad loved to build RC cars and collecting Hot Wheels until his health started to decline.

He is survived by his wife; mother; stepdad; daughter, Samantha (Mitch) Dietz; son, Joshua Black; and stepsons, Coltin and Tanner Bartley. He was the stepbrother of Tammy Bartley and Tracy Richardson; grandpa of Jon and Willow Dietz; son-in-law of Roger Bartley; uncle of special niece, Maggie Koziar; nephew of Sandy Bauer and Bob Marks and Kenneth and Judy Tressler. Chad is also survived by his fur babies, Ceasar and Cali.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Florence and Donald Williams; and his mothers-in-law, Carole (Burns) Bartley and Joan Bartley.

BLACK — All arrangements for Chad E. Black, who died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2025, were made through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at West Deer Bible Church, 4341 Bakerstown Culmerville Road, Gibsonia.
