Arthur A. Arnovitz
Arthur A. Arnovitz, 81, formerly of Fourth Avenue, died at 9:05 p.m. Tuesday at his home at New Haven Court, Center Township.
Born May 15, 1923, in Butler, he was the son of Max and Bessie Dubofsky Arnovitz.
He was a World War II Army veteran and had been a welder at US Steel in Ambridge.
Mr. Arnovitz was a member of Congregation B'nai Abraham.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Alyce Kaplan of Delray Beach, Fla., and Mrs. Marlyn Gardner of Elmhurst, Ill.; two brothers, Samuel Arnovitz of Delray Beach and Presley Arnovitz of Nashville, Tenn.; 17 nieces and nephews; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
Two sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
ARNOVITZ - Friends of Arthur A. Arnovitz, who died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2005, will be received from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday atTHOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St. Services will follow at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Cantor Adriane Caplowe of Congregation B'nai Abraham officiating.
