The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:

Aug. 11 — Brittany Lauren Souders, 36, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following an Aug. 11 incident. Police said Souders scratched a man’s face and pushed him into a counter.

Aug. 15 — Diane C. Ratay, 63, of Evans City, was charged in four cases with felony retail theft and one misdemeanor count each of receiving stolen property and trespass following four incidents between April 28 and June 27. Police said Ratay stole $299.19 in merchandise from Walmart in four incidents.

Aug. 12 — Brianna R. Letcher, 32, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following an Aug. 4 incident in Summit Township. Police said Letcher had two glass smoking pipes.

Aug. 14 — Mark Craig Mullins, 49, of Indiana, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a May 27 crash in Butler Township. Police said Mullins had a blood alcohol content of 0.192%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Aug. 14 — Brittany Nicole Slagle, 35, of Wexford, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following a May 26 traffic stop in Connoquenessing Township. Police said Slagle had a BAC of 0.162%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.

Aug. 14 — Karen Rasmussen, 47, of Slippery Rock, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following an Aug. 13 incident in West Liberty. Police said Rasmussen punched a man in the face multiple times and bit his left tricep.

Aug. 13 — Elmer F. Mitchell, 54, of Karns City, was charged with misdemeanor theft following an April 17 incident in Oakland Township. Police said Mitchell attempted to pay for car repairs with a bad check written for $546.81.
