Grossman

Donna Marie Grossman, 92, of Slippery Rock, passed away Monday, Aug. 18, 2025, at UPMC Jameson Hospital, New Castle.

She was born in Turtle Creek, Pa., on Dec. 10, 1932, to William H. Marlowe and Rachel Smeltzer Marlowe.

She was married to P. Glenn Grossman for more than 50 years, and he preceded her in death on April 15, 2001. Donna was a member of the former Wolf Creek Presbyterian Church in Worth Township. She worked for over 30 years at Orchard Manor Nursing Home in Grove City, working there well into her 80s.

Donna loved caring for others and most of all spending time with her family. She was an avid traveler, reader and Pittsburgh Penguins fan. She loved going to casinos and taking care of animals.

Survivors include her sister, Betty (George) Walker of Grove City; daughter-in-law, Kathy Grossman of Grove City; granddaughter, Zoe Arey of New York City; sister-in-law, Lynn Marlowe of Titusville; and numerous nieces and nephews, including niece, Linda Wigton, who cared for Donna for many years. Also surviving are numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn; son, Rick Grossman; three brothers, Bill, James and Joseph; two sisters in-law, Esther and Edith Marlowe; and three nephews.

GROSSMAN — There will be a visitation for Donna Marie Grossman, who died Monday, Aug. 18, 2025, from noon until the time of service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. The Rev. Diane Whitman will officiate.

Interment will follow in Wolf Creek Cemetery, Worth Township, Butler County.
