Candidate for governor stops in Mars
MARS — Rep. Sam Rohrer R-Berks, a candidate for the Republican gubernatorial nomination, will talk at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Mars Public Library, 107 Grand Ave.
Rohrer is the author of a measure to eliminate and replace school property taxes, and a proponent for spending restraint and budget reform, according to a news release from his campaign.
Rohrer's meeting will focus on proposals to reduce spending, to cut taxes and to promote a new culture of ethics in state government.
