Bryan Lyons
Bryan E. Lyons, 61, of Chicora, formerly of Valencia, passed away at his home Saturday afternoon, Aug. 16, 2025.
Bryan was born in Pittsburgh on Aug. 15, 1964. He was the son of Bernard Lee Sr. and Clara K. Lurtz Lyons.
He attended high school in Mars and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, where he earned his GED diploma. He had been employed as a welder for Marshall Stamping in Valencia.
Bryan enjoyed the company of his Rottweiler, Caesar, golfing and spending time at home.
He is survived by his wife, Debra L. Foor Tate; a daughter, Tiffany Hoy, of Washington; two grandchildren; a stepdaughter, Melissa A. Little, and a stepgranddaughter, Ambrosia S. Little, both of Chicora; his siblings, Kathy Smith, Barbara Federkeil and her husband, George, all of New Castle, Bernard Lee Lyons Jr. and his wife, Lee Ann, of Lindon, Utah, and Brenda Lyons, of Concord, N.C.; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
LYONS — Friends of Bryan E. Lyons, who died Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at HILE FUNERAL HOME OF CHICORA, 339 Chicora Fenelton Road, Chicora.
A memorial service will follow at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Jeff Powell, pastor of the Cheswick Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home by members of the Chicora and Bradys Bend American Legion posts.
Burial will be at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville.
