Adams Township offers AED demonstration for new equipment

A new AED machine has been installed at Adams Township Community Park, and people got a hands-on demonstration of its use on Saturday morning, Aug. 16.
The Aliver Foundation and the Marsha Bazylak Memorial Fund paid for the donation of the AED, and to recognize the occasion, Adams Township hosted a medical-themed community event in partnership with Quality EMS, Adams Area Fire District and the Callery Volunteer Fire Department. The event featured interactive CPR and defibrillator demonstrations from Quality EMS, as well as a touch-a-truck event for children.
