6:59 p.m. Thursday — Derek I. Krallman, 25, of Butler was hurt when he lost control of his car and collided with another car at North Main and Charles streets. He suffered minor injuries. Police said he was wearing a seat belt.He told officers that he lost control of his car after his brakes failed. David L. Neigh, 64, of Butler Township was the other driver.11:17 a.m. June 16 — A car driven by Troy R. Thomas, 25, of Beaver pulled from a parking spot on the side of East Wayne Street and collided with a tractor-trailer. The collision forced the car into a pickup truck that was also parked on the side of the road.Adam Tardays of Ontario, Canada, was driving the rig.

Monday — Police charged Frank W. Motko, 58, of Butler stemming from a Wednesday altercation during which he allegedly threw a TV dinner at and threatened a motorcyclist on Bean Street.Motto is charged with simple assault, reckless endangerment, harassment and disorderly conduct.7:57 p.m. Sunday — Kenneth Carr, 78, of Butler was arrested after allegedly threatening his nephew, 45-year-old Vincent Nielsen, with a knife during a domestic dispute at their home on Zenith Road.Carr was arraigned on a charge of simple assault, and placed in the Butler County Prison.9:05 p.m. Saturday — Dewayne A. Cousins, 50, of Lyndora was arrested after allegedly attacking two police officers at his home. Sgt. Robert Murphy and Patrolman Alan Mores were called to the home in the 200 block of Bessemer Avenue for a reported domestic dispute between Cousins and his wife.Cousins was found “in a highly intoxicated condition,” according to a police report.While officers spoke to him, the defendant suddenly struck Murphy in the chest with his left hand. He continued to resist police, forcing another officer to deploy his Taser, the report said.But even after police got Cousins under control and while taking him to the cruiser, the suspect mule-kicked Mores. No injuries were reported.Cousins was arraigned on two counts of aggravated assault on a police officer and charges of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $50,000 bail, following arraignment.9:08 p.m. Friday — Dominick Hillwig, 33, of Butler was cited for violating the township's burning ordinance at his home in the 200 block of North Boundary Street.10:05 a.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Brandon Green, 25, of Cabot rear-ended another vehicle on the Route 422 eastbound off-ramp at Route 8. Green's passenger, 21-year-old Destiny Arritt of Bessemer, Lawrence County, suffered an unknown injury.Police said Green was cited for driving at an unsafe speed. Robert Jones, 55, of Tarentum, Allegheny County, was the other driver.

Monday — A Murray 24-inch bicycle was found in the 1200 block of West Main Street. The owner can claim the bike at the police station at 337 E. Pine St.2 p.m. Saturday — Police charged Robert Lawrence, 65, with allowing his dog to run loose at his Stewart Avenue home. The dog, a black and brown collie, chased after a 16-year-old boy, nipping at the child's legs.Lawrence was cited for not confining his dog.Friday — About $10,000 worth of landscaping equipment was stolen from Enclave Drive near Middle School Drive. The stolen items included two Bobcat skid steer attachments.Police noted that each attachment weighs about 1,000 pounds.The theft happened between June 19 and Friday. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-458-7925.Friday — Vehicles driven by Seth McCabe-Marcell, 31, of Halethorpe, Md., and Robert Kowalsky Jr., 23, of Grove City collided at North Broad and Chestnut streets. Police said McCabe-Marcell was cited for failing to yield.

3:59 p.m. Monday — Joshua M. Allen, 33, of Franklin, Venango County, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township.2:12 a.m. Sunday — A 22-year-old woman, who police did not identify, was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Muddy Creek Drive in Brady Township.1:51 p.m. Saturday — Five people, three of them children, were hurt when a pickup truck crashed and rolled over in Brady Township. Natalie L. Dawson, 32, of Pittsburgh lost control of the truck and hit an embankment on Prospect Road just south of Moraine State Park.Dawson and her passengers — Dale R. Callender, 33, and three boys ages 11, 9 and 1, all of Pittsburgh — were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.4:42 a.m. Saturday — An unknown burglar broke into a home at the Port-o-Call Trailer Park in Penn Township. A police report did not immediately indicate if anything was taken in the burglary.9:55 p.m. Friday — Michael Moses, 21, of Butler was found “highly intoxicated” and unruly at the Butler Fairgrounds, according to a police report. Police said he was cited for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.June 24 — An unknown thief broke into an unlocked pickup truck in the driveway of a home in the 700 block of Boyers Road in Marion Township and stole $650. The theft happened between 10:30 p.m. June 23 and 3:30 a.m. June 24.June 22 — About $95 was taken from an unlocked vehicle at a home on Garing Road in Donegal Township. The theft happened June 21 or 22. Police have no suspects.May 22 — An estimated $25,000 in jewelry was stolen in a burglary at a home in Timber Ridge Road in Clinton Township. The unknown burglar broke into the home between Feb. 13 and May 22.
