Marjorie J. Worley

Marjorie J. Worley, 79, of Loganton, Clinton County, went home Friday to be with Jesus, surrounded by those who loved her.

She was born May 19, 1932, in Sacramento, Calif.

After graduating from Biola University, Los Angeles, Calif., she married Pastor Clyde L. Worley June 2, 1956. Margie was a dedicated minister's wife her entire married life, first in Annisville, Washington Township, and later in the Loganton area. After moving to the Loganton area in 1981, she worked as a secretary at the Pennsylvania College of Technology until her retirement in 1994.

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

In addition to Clyde, her husband of 55 years, she leaves behind a son, Tim Worley and his wife, Tammy, of Butler; three daughters, Karen Stauffer and her husband, Bob, of Freeburg, Snyder County, Cara Stone and her husband Rob, of Loganton and Susan Adams and her husband, Claude, of Greenville, S.C.; a foster daughter, Gloria Hurney and her husband, Bill of McConnellsburg, Fulton County; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Margie came to know the Lord as her personal Savior as a teenager. She desired to glorify him in the way she lived her life. Her strong faith in the Lord was evident to everyone who came in contact with her as she accepted and faced the cancer that ended her earthly life and ushered her into eternity in heaven.

<B>WORLEY</B> — Visitation for Marjorie J. Worley, who died Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Mt. Pleasant Bible Church, 4561 Long Run Road, Loganton, where the funeral service will follow at 1 p.m.In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Margie may be sent to the Hope of Glory Bible Church, 508 Cemetery Road, Muncy, PA 17756, where her husband Clyde is pastoring. The gifts will be given to Calvin Sears, missionary to Mexico, to further the gospel of Jesus.Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the <B>Dean K.
