Rose Braham
Rose (Szakelyhidi) Braham, 84, of the St. Paul Homes in Green-ville, formerly of Zelienople, died Saturday.
Born Sept. 25, 1926, in Zelienople, she was the daughter of William and Suzan (Bihary) Szakelyhidi.
Mrs. Braham worked many years at the Bill Kennedy State Farm Agency in Zelienople and retired as a clerk from the Cranberry Township Tax Office on May 1, 1994.
She enjoyed baking, gardening and movies; but her greatest enjoyment was devoting time to her family.
Mrs. Braham had been a member of the St. Peter's Reformed Church in Zelienople.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Braham, and three brothers, William, Bert and Joseph Szakelyhidi.
She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Arter (Richard) of Medina, Ohio, and Lisa Carlin (Jay) of Camp Hill, Pa.; two brothers, Frank Szakelyhidi (Mary Jean) of Zelienople and Andrew Szakelyhidi (Stella) of Harmony; and a sister, Elizabeth Kennedy (Bill) of Zelienople. She also is survived by her two grandchildren, Liane and Calvin Arter; and her son Tim's companion, Judy Davidson of Zelienople.
<B>BRAHAM </B>— Friends of Rose (Szakelyhidi) Braham, who died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
