Congregation B'nai Abraham will hold its annual Hanukkah party at 11 a.m. Sunday at the synagogue, 519 N. Main St.
In addition to the traditional latkes and kosher hot dogs for the festive luncheon, the gathering will include a singalong of Hanukkah songs with Cantor Michal and musician Greg Siegle.

JEFFERSON TWP — The Concordia Haven Chorus will hold its annual Christmas Cantata at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Haven 1 dining room, 112 Marwood Road.This year's cantata is entitled “Master Composer,” which was created by resident Director Carol Oliver. A chorus of 30 residents will sing Christmas anthems and narrate the story of Christmas. A concert, “Swing into Christmas,” featuring the TMG Big Band (formerly known as the Trinity Jazz Band), will be at 7 p.m. Monday in the sanctuary of First English Lutheran Church, 241 N. Main St.An offering will be taken.

VALENCIA — Glade Run United Presbyterian Church will show the video, “GriefShare: Surviving the Holidays,” at 4 p.m. Sunday at 1091 Pittsburgh Road.The video is an uplifting outreach tool, designed to help those who have lost a loved one or friend, navigate the holiday season despite their grief. There is no charge.
Holy Hour of Peace will begin at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St. There will be prayers for peace and vocations, rosary and Benediction.
Faith Lutheran Church, 241 Freeport Road, is again celebrating Advent with Wednesday services.The services will be at 7 p.m. the three Wednesdays before Christmas.
SAXONBURG — “Changed by a Baby Boy” Christmas musical program will be performed at 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church, 100 Main St.The evening will feature new songs and old favorites, adult and children's choirs and actors in skits.

A Christmas cantata, “The Gift,” will be performed at 7 p.m. Friday and again at 11 a.m. Sunday at Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church, 727 Old West 422.The cantata includes special music by the choir, bell choir, special musicians and soloists.The church will also offer a live Nativity from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 16.This is planned as a drive-through or walk-through event. Hot chocolate will be offered. Take a nonperishable food item as a donation.
