Clyde O. 'Sonny' Brooks

Clyde O. “Sonny” Brooks, 76, of Zelienople, formerly of Harmony, died Saturday evening at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.

Born in Pittsburgh on Oct. 19, 1934, he was the son of the late Clyde O. and Esther Cox Brooks.

Sonny was a produce worker for Cribelli's in the Strip District, was a delivery man for the Joseph Horne Co. and most recently was the laundry supervisor for Vincentian Home in North Hills.

Surviving are his wife, Amy Meisel Brooks, who he married on July 26, 1980; a sister, Darlene Bracken and her husband, Robert, of Cranberry Township; a brother, Charles Brooks, and his wife, Judith, of Allison Park; and nieces and nephews.

<B>BROOKS — </B>Friends of Clyde O. “Sonny” Brooks, who died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the <B>MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME,</B> 238 Crowe Ave. Mars. Services will follow at 8 p.m. today at the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas O'Brien officiating. Burial will be in Mt.
